What to Bring

WHAT TO BRING TO REHAB AT BRITELIFE RECOVERY

  • List of names, addresses and phone numbers of those you wish to have included in your treatment (loved ones, healthcare professionals, 12 step sponsors, etc.).
  • Existing prescription medication in the original pharmacy bottle with the information label intact. Any liquid medications must be new and sealed. You should also bring a list of all your prescriptions and dosages.
  • A small sum of cash ($50 to $100 in smaller bills for store runs).
  • Your credit card or debit card to pay for treatment medications.
  • Your insurance cards and valid photo identification (a driver’s license, passport, etc.).
  • Photos of your loved ones to keep in your room.
  • Printed books for leisure reading. Patients cannot use tablets or smartphones that are connected to the internet.
  • 1-month supply of cigarettes (if you smoke).
  • Juul vapes are ok (no e-vape liquid).

CLOTHING ITEMS TO PACK

Be sure to bring 15 days' worth of relaxed, seasonal, weather-appropriate clothing, including:

  • Shoes: comfy shoes for everyday wear, sneakers for activities/sports and flip-flops for the shower
  • Shirts: relaxed, non-revealing cover-ups.
  • Jeans
  • Shorts: appropriate length
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Bathing suit: a one-piece for women, trunks for men
  • Pajamas
  • Light jacket
  • Belt
  • Hat

Toiletries and Beauty Products

All health and beauty products should be alcohol-free. Aerosol sprays are NOT allowed.
Bring a 30 days’ supply, including:

  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Hair styling products (pump hair spray only)
  • Hairbrush
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Razor & shaving cream
  • Sunscreen
  • Cosmetics

Items NOT Allowed

  • Weapons (guns, knives, scissors, sharp objects, etc.)
  • Protein powders / energy supplements
  • Pornography
  • Food or beverages
  • Toiletries and beauty products that contain alcohol (mouthwash, perfume, etc.)
  • Electronic cigarettes
  • Unapproved or previously opened retail medications
  • Nail polish, polish remover
  • Video games and DVDs
  • Sports equipment
  • Suggestive or revealing clothing (tank tops, sleeveless shirts, midriff bearing tops, etc.)
  • Aerosols
  • Electronics (televisions, gaming consoles, etc.)
  • Games and playing cards
  • Candles and incense
  • Suggestive clothing (e.g., drugs, alcohol, or violence)
