South Carolina Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our South Carolina partial hospitalization program (PHP) allows clients to receive intensive care while living offsite nearby. Clients often transition into our partial hospitalization program after finishing residential treatment. The PHP program includes individualized therapy as well as co-occurring disorder care.
The Hilton Head partial hospitalization program offers more time in treatment than our outpatient program. It’s best for clients with a history of addiction and other medical concerns. Our PHP rehab program gives clients valuable structure and daily routine, both crucial components of a treatment strategy. PHP level care consist of individual and group sessions along with alternative and adventure therapies. The partial hospitalization program is devised to help clients set up an appropriate balance between self-care and taking on the tasks of daily life. Clients enrolled in this PHP have access to private, on-site housing, as required.
Partial Hospitalization is an Important Level of Care
Once clients complete our South Carolina residential program, they advance to partial hospitalization. Our addiction treatment programs are sequenced from highest level of care on down. Typically, PHP is suited for clients who complete the residential program. If any of the following apply to you, the BriteLife residential program may be more suitable:
- You require medical attention for a physical or mental health condition
- You have not completed a medical detox
- You are experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms
- You need consistent structure and supervision to remain clean
IS PHP RIGHT FOR YOU?
When you make a decision to get help for drug or alcohol addiction, it can be challenging to traverse the different levels of addiction and behavioral health care. The first step is to participate in pre-admission and admission assessments. These assessments will help us to determine which level of care is right for you or your loved one. Our partial hospitalization is constructed for persons who meet the following conditions:
- Trouble functioning at work or school.
- Not at risk of hurting self or others.
- Medically stable.
- Sufficient familial support.
- Motivated to get help.
- Experiencing co-occurring disorders.
In BriteLife’s PHP you’ll be monitored during treatment and participate in a variety of evidence-based addiction therapies. Our PHP program is designed to provide comprehensive care while still allowing you the freedom to partially live your life outside of treatment.
